Week Ending April 3, 2009 - Washington, DC

On April 1st I had surgery to remove the center lobe of the right lung. The surgery took over three hours and left me generally weak. I did not leave the hospital until Sunday, April 5th well after the update would normally have been posted. After some reflection I decided to just "let it go." This was the first week in a decade or more that I have no issued some type of legislative update. There will be one next week, I promise! William J. Murray, editor
