LEGISLATIVE UPDATE - WEEK ENDING NOVEMBER 25, 2005

HOUSE AND SENATE IN RECESS UNTIL 12/06/2005

A PSALM OF THANKSGIVING

1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
2Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
3Know that the LORD, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;[1]
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5For the LORD is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

Psalm 100 -NKJV

Real Meaning of Thanksgiving

The documents below clearly show the meaning of Thanksgiving as intended by the nation's Founders. Today in most public schools God is not mentioned and Thanksgiving becomes a historical event rather than a Christian celebration of thanks to God. Please pass the document links on to others or print them out for distribution.

CHRISTMAS AT RFC

CUSTOM MADE RFC CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT!

RFC Christmas Store Each year the Religious Freedom Coalition offers an expanded selection of items at our Internet store, many of them related to our work. This year we are offering a custom made Religious Freedom Coalition Christmas ornament featuring "under God" 3 dimentionally imposed over the American flag. This is a beautiful 3" high ornament that can be purchased nowhere else! The ornament symbolizes our work to protect the words "under God" in the Pledge to our flag. We also have an "under God" men's neck tie. Because of our work in the Holy Land, RFC Christmas Store and our defense of the public display of the Ten Commandments in the United States, we are offering the Ten Commandments etched in Jerusalem stone. Proceeds from sales at our Internet store assist us in our work both in the United States and internationally. AND: My autobiography, My Life Without God, which has sold hundreds of thousands of copies, is once again available at the RFC Internet store. Our store is located at www.rfcstore.com. PLEASE NOTE: Our offices will be closed Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th and will reopen on Monday, November 28th at 9:00 AM EST.

OUR CHRISTIAN INTERNET STORES

We have two Internet stores: Find one of a kind items such as those above at our private online store and thousands of Christian books, CD's and DVD's at our affiliate store! Please help us with our various projects on Capitol Hill and in the Holy Land. Donate today!

Recommend the RFC update to someone! In 2005 we are praying to top the 100,000 subscribers mark and you can help. If this e-mail has been forwarded to you, please subscribe at http://www.rfcnet.org/subscribe.asp
