RFC chairman, William J. Murray, has written a strong letter of protest to the ambassador of India with regard to the murder of Christian Children in India. The attacks upon Christians have increased greatly since the Hindu nationalist party came to power.  Philip and Timothy Staines and their father had gasoline poured upon them by a Hindu mob. They were then set on fire. Even nuns have been attacked in recent weeks.

Numerous other Washington, DC based organizations including the Association of Christian Schools International have also written letters of protest. The address of Ambassador Naresh Chandra appears on the letter below. Please send your letter of protest directly to the Ambassador.

The fax number for the Embassy of India is (202) 483-3972.

Your Excellency:

Christian leaders throughout the United States are appalled by the murder of two young boys and their father by Hindu mobs in India. Let there be no mistake; these children and their father were burned to death because they were Christians.

There has been no apology from your excellency. Why?

It is my understanding that the leaders of the mob have not been arrested. Why? Are the murderers too closely associated with your political party to be brought to justice? Perhaps there is no justice in India when it comes to the murder of Christian children.

What message is it that you want to send to the world about India and the Hindu religion? Does India have no civil law? What message does this send to the world with India in control of nuclear weapons The mob violence in India against Christians must stop. It will not stop if we as Christian leaders do nothing. John Holmes at ACSI has started the ball rolling iwth a group letter. Please call him at 202/546-9370 for more information. Meanwhile all of us should be calling for justice. See my letter attached.

William Murray? If you will not protect children in your own nation, will you use nuclear devices against the children of your neighbors?

The murderers of these children and their father must be brought to justice, real justice, or there will be a call to boycott Indian products and companies, of that I can assure you. A show trial and a swat on the wrist will not do. Those responsible must be dealt with as harshly as if the murdered children were Hindu.

Sincerely,

William J. Murray
Chairman
