ATTENTION ALL ATHEISTS

Attending the 25th Annual American Atheist Convention

My name is William J. Murray and I was raised in the bizarre dysfunctional home of atheist "leader" Madalyn Murray O’Hair. From that experience I have learned that there is no such thing as "intellectual atheism". Atheism is a system of sin denial. Atheists deny God because they decry and violate His laws and His love.

In the November 1983 issue of Hustler magazine my atheist mother outlined the true philosophy of atheism. I cannot reprint any of her comments in this column because the vulgarity would not be permitted by this publication. In summary she stated that the government had no right to even issue a marriage license. Her conclusion: people should do as they please, disregarding any social order or law.

According to Aleister Crowley, the founder of the modern Ordo Templi Orientis the man who called himself "the Beast 666" of Revelation, atheists are correct. His Great law of Thelema proclaimed in his Book of the Law is "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law." That conclusion can be drawn from the fact that the basic tenets of atheism, secularism and Satanism are identical – that each individual should "do as he or she pleases?"

Shout that this is not so, yet, virtually every one of the seminars and meetings you are holding during these three days have that one constant theme: there is no good or evil and each person must decide for himself what is right and what is wrong.

You proclaim your philosophy as new, declaring it for the 21st century. Yet, it is the oldest of philosophies, first mentioned in the Bible in the book of Genesis. It was the serpent, in tempting Eve, who said,"…your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." For the past 6,000 years the philosophy of the serpent has fought the Word of God.

Recent victories belong to your philosophy:

The authority of God was removed from the schools in 1963 and replaced with the "logic of man," the self-determination of good and evil. That failed and has been replaced with the iron fist of government. The Ten Commandments have been removed from the walls of the schools and metal detectors, bars on the windows and video cameras, have replaced them. Some schools, such as Baltimore’s, now have their own police force with armed guards at the doors of the schools and ID wearing students. These are your great temporary victories … the body counts of students … children murdering children because their teachers are forbidden to teach the difference between right and wrong. Temporary victories!

The philosophies of men and their perversions are fleeting, but God is forever. There is no Roman Empire: the cause of Christ lives on. There is no atheist Soviet Empire: the cause of Christ lives on. Boris Yeltsin kissed the Bible when he was sworn in as the first freely elected president of Russia ever. One day the United States of America will be a thing of the past, but the Bible and the Cross of Christ will prevail then as now.

William J. MurrayGod is forever and eventually every knee shall bow to His awesome power. The question is why will your knees bow? Will you bow to Him in thankfulness for the eternal life you will have with Him in heaven, or will you bow in fear for the judgement against you for your transgressions against Him and His Word?

You begin your celebration of atheistic secularism on Good Friday, the day Jesus Christ was crucified. You end your observance of secularism on Easter Sunday, the day He rose from the grave. It is symbolic and ironic that your atheist/secularist convention is conducted during the days Christ spent in the grave. Jesus Christ arose from the grave just as you can arise from your sin by accepting Him as your Lord and Savior!

Repent of your sin…put the perversions of your secular life behind you, and turn to Christ. He is your Savior. He is your rescuer. He is your lifeboat of grace to a better and eternal life.
